Tom Reis
President & CEO
Tom Reis became President and CEO of DataSafe in 1986. He joined the company in 1978. Reis started as Controller before serving as Vice President of Operations.
He believes that records management companies should not only strive to provide a commodity, but to become an extension of their clients' organization as well.
Tom envisions the records management industry will soon use document imaging for nearly all accesses. He has positioned DataSafe on the forefront of imaging not only to save clients money and time, but to ensure it is part of a comprehensive records management scenario.
He has been on the board of the Data Processing Management Association (DPMA), a member of The Executive Committee (TEC) and the Business Advisory Council (BAC).
Reis was on the PRISM International board (Professional Records & Information Services Management) from 1991 to 1993 and coordinated the association's publication of the first commercial record center industry rack/shelving guidelines in the Spring of 1991. He has been a PRISM International seminar leader in several conferences on a variety of topics, including financial reporting, sales compensation plans, targeting profitable sales, succession planning, disaster recovery, and ISO 9000.
Tom received his BA in Psychology from Middlebury College in Vermont and his MBA from Golden Gate University in San Francisco. He also earned his Certified Public Accountant certificate with Haskins and Sells (now Deloitte & Touche.)

Ron Reis
Vice President
Ron Reis joined DataSafe in 1986 following a ten year career as a university professor. As Vice President, Reis has driven DataSafe's unique Premier Services Group to ensure it stays in front of the needs of the company's most ambitious clients. He continues to interact with records management organizations throughout the world to ensure the industry stays on top of business trends, regulatory issues and the needs of its clients.
Ron served as the 2001 President of PRISM International, the industry's trade association of some 600 international company members. He has guided the industry in various capacities, including speaking, committee and other board engagements. Ron is a past officer of the ARMA (The Association of Records Managers & Administrators), Golden Gate Chapter. He has been a member of The Executive Committee (TEC) from 1993 to 2000.
Reis holds M.A. and Ph.D. degrees from University of Redlands and Kent State University, respectively.

Debra Pierce
Vice President, Corporate Services
Debra Pierce was named Vice President of Corporate Services in 2004. She joined DataSafe in 1993 as the Customer Service Manager. She was quickly promoted to Director of Operations. Pierce later took on the role of Vice President of Sales & Marketing. Pierce is now responsible for ensuring that DataSafe remains focused on delivering consistent, quality services to its clients.
Debra came to DataSafe with over 15 years of experience in the airline industry, where she managed numerous Alaska Airlines customer operations facilities throughout the United States.
Pierce also worked with several independent records management companies in the implementation and conversion of various software systems.

Peter L. Rammer
Vice President of Sales & Marketing
Peter L. Rammer joined the DataSafe Executive Management Team as Director of Sales and Marketing in February 2006 and was promoted to Vice President in January 2007.
Prior to his appointment at DataSafe, Peter spent 18 successful years in sales, marketing and product development with some of the nation's top Wireless Providers. Peter was a pioneer in the sales and marketing of Cellular Services in the US, and later went on to specialize in Data Services and GPS Location Based Applications. Before that, Peter worked for five years as a product development analyst for the President of the Federal Reserve Bank.
Peter attended St. Mary's College where he was enrolled in a specialized Executive Business Management Program.

Rob Reis
Vice President of Finance & Operations
Rob Reis, elder son of Tom Reis, joined DataSafe as a full time employee in May 2005 as the Operations Manager for the Vital Records facilities. Rob had previously been employed by DataSafe on a part-time basis for over 10 years as a summer employee. During that period, he worked in all operating departments, and assisted in computer conversions in 1998 and in 2001. Prior to joining DataSafe as a full time employee, Rob earned a B.A. at Middlebury College, Middlebury, Vermont, with a double major in Economics and Psychology, and an MBA at Golden Gate University, San Francisco, with a concentration in Finance. He was employed for two years as an Assistant Buyer at the headquarters of Beverages and More (Bev Mo!), where he also assisted in planning the openings of several new retail stores.
In 2006, Rob moved into the role of Operations Manager for both the Hardcopy and Vital Record facilities at DataSafe. He was promoted to Vice President of Operations and Finance in January 2008.

Mary Meunier
Director of Human Resources and Administration
Mary Meunier joined DataSafe in 2006 as Director of Human Resources and Administration.
Mary brings over 20 years experience in Human Resources, Sales and Operations, primarily in the Staffing Industry.
She holds the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification from the Society of Human Resource Management. Mary is an active member of the Northern California Human Resource Association and held several board positions with the San Francisco chapter. She earned a BA in Management from St. Mary's College.
